The TRS-6 is the all-new upgrade 2-way FM transceiver, for the SR-i500. The extra small handheld transceiver incorporates an interactive LCD display that instantly confirms all commands and alarm triggers with easy to understand icons and text. In addition, the TRS-6 adds an impact resistant / waterproof casing for more rugged use a well as a built-in rechargeable battery and charger.

- Includes a built-in 120 dB programmable multi-tone siren with soft chirp alarm/disarm feature
- From up to 1/2 mile away, the two-way remote allows the user to control all of the alarm functions as well as receive detailed information on the motorcycle's status
- Other standard features include: audible/vibrating alert, smart battery safeguard, sensor violation display, range and signal status display, clock with alarm, motorcycle battery condition display, rolling codes, ignition sensor, flashing light with memory, key lock, and remote motorcycle finder.
- Features a programmable perimeter sensor that detects motion around the bike, protecting saddlebags, luggage, etc.
- Features a built-in battery backup system that allows the alarm to function even if the battery wires are cut
- Also features an anti-hijack/ignition disable module that allows the user to remotely cut off the engine in case of a hijack situation
- Factory connector kits allow the alarm system to be integrated into the OEM-style harness without any cutting or splicing (sold separately)

What a great unit! Installs in minutes and provides FM reassurance. Most other alarms just make noise when the bike is being disturbed. This Scorpio not only makes noise at the bike, but sends an alarm to the key fob to alert the owner. If the perimeter sensor is activated - the key fob alerts the owner and tells how many times the bike has been approached. In addition, the unit has a battery gauge which lets you know if the battery is getting low -- before it gets too low! Once again - awesome unit!

Very Loud. Took about 2 hours to install. Ran into various small issues. Make sure you get the right factory connector kit but you can manage fine without it as well. Includes T tap connectors that you can use to directly connect to the battery. Immobilizer is slightly difficult to connect as no unique instructions are given as all bikes have different wiring. Overall very nice.

Installation of *most* of the alarm was easy on my 2008 Suzuki C50T with the factory wiring kit. The unit sits directly to the top of the battery. I haven't hooked up the ignition interrupt circuit yet. I'm trying to identify which wire to cut and splice into. The alarm seems to work flawlessly. I set the alarm, walked by the bike and the perimeter sensor worked great. Had to adjust the sensitivity a bit, because the sensor is under the pillion seat. The tile/shock sensor work well also. This sucker is LOUD! So far, the remote seems to pick up well from at least 1/4 mile. I set the remote in my neighbors yard, walked back to the bike and tripped the alarm. Then back to the remote. I got indication that the alarm had been tripped and was able to silence it from that distance. I'll wait and see what the true distance is. UPDATE: I have had the control Unit replace under warranty, because it got to the point you couldn't hear the alarm go off. The replacement has started doing the ...
