BIG UWE
from Livermore, CA for a
2008 Premium Touring Shadow Aero 1100:
I have to admit: riding just in a T-shirt and feeling the wind on your skin is nice. While the word "road rash" might sound cute, it's not!!! Every experienced rider knows to dress for the crash and not for the ride.
Finally we have a jacket that marries the two. The mesh tex material lets the air go through the jacket but still providing protection in case you go down. Also, you won't get sun burned with this jacket and it has pockets to carry stuff which is always imporant on a cruiser. The removable liner is great if the temperates drop a bit or if you get caught in some rain.
I had the chance to test this jacket on a 1700 mile trip from California to Colorado crossing the desserts in Nevada and Utah (120 degrees!) and it worked great. I have the XL Tall version which fits we better than the regular XL (I'm 6'5").
Almost all the CruiserCustomizing employees now wear this jacket when they ride.
