I installed this on my bike withing days of bringing it home. They look darn good, kind of remind me of the H-D bar and shield when you look at them and they do give some protection to the bike at low speed. Like I said I put them on right away and it was/is my first bike. Needless to say I dropped her once trying to make a slow turn in gravel and another time when unloading the bike, without assistance, from the back on my pick-up. The Linbar got a little scraped and the end of one grip got scratched. But no other damage to the bike. I agree with another reviewer that it isn't much use as a highway bar, it isn't very comfortable putting your feet up that hight. But it's perfect for mounting some H-D or other fog lights and you could always clamp some pegs to the outside if you desired.

Bars are too high to be of much use as a highway peg - it raises your knees way above your waist. Would not bother with this - but they were already on my bike. The plain chrome are fine and also allow you to put a more reasonable highway peg lower down. It is over a foot between the bar and your peg with these, tough in the wind.
